'cause there's a spark in you,

Yesterday, was a
blasttttt.
Went to East Coast beach with
batchies (Christine, Joy, Crystal) and
JiaWei! :D
So firstly, we met up at Serene Centre for breakfast at around 7.30am. I was the only late one ._. Didn't eat much, just drank iced
milo, and
oooh, claim my free
hash brown muahahaha.
Then, we went to the nearest bus stop to board 48. And Christine started going high and
omo she caught the attention on some
ang moh guy, and he was staring
weirdly at us. Bet he though we were loonies. And I was trying to cover my face.
Hahah embarrassing max.
So yeah we boarded 48, and us being VERY considerate people, we quickly
chionged for seats
hahahah. (Not our fault
kay, we knew it was gonna be a long bus ride).
Heh we managed to occupy the whole back row in the end. Okay now I'm embarrassed by our
kiasuism. BUT, we made sure to check that there were no old people okay! (Screw those young working adults staring at us. Please, they're as young and fit as us can,
tsk!)
After 45min or so, we reached
Parkwayyyy! Walked to
Fairprice. Wanted to buy some
sand which ingredients at first (and hunt for sunhats to, well you know, fit in the 'beach-y' atmosphere
hahah), but we decided against it cause all the food would turn bad. (
Btw, we didn't manage to find the sunhats, sadly)
So, we made our way to the (very creepy) underpass, before walking
allllll the way to a suitable spot to settle down. Gosh I didn't realised that
ECP had such a long coastal line.
*left this in my
draftbox yesterday cause I dozed off. So, I shall continue
nao (:
Anyway, the sun was
maddddd hot. But it got better as we waddled into the sea afterwards. Oh and, at first, everyone was scared to go in. So I dragged Christine in with me, and in the end, all of us held hands and went in
ahhaha. (Oh gosh now it sounds like we're some suicide pact, hilarious).
Anywayyy, so yeah, we started playing, splashing water at one another, and
ooooh, the fun-nest part, getting hit by unexpected huge waves! And
every one's reaction would be '
Omg big wave big wave! *screams* -covers head with hands- before you here some
gagging and spluttering. And yeah some random screaming, probably from Joy
hahaha. Oh but getting salt water into your eyes is no joke, it was kinda painful I could barely open my eyes,
psh. Though it got better after a while when you're used to it.
And yeah we just laid in the sea and talked about
hmmm, stuff, for hours? It was really calming, listening to the waves, plus laying in water = totally
shuang. We made this moat-like thing, but it kinda got ruined by the waves in the end ): But, it was fun while it lasted
hahah.
And, oh Joy got bitten by ... something. Scary. But I think it was pretty harmless
lah, the bite was kinda small (though really red :O). So then, we decided to wash up. Oh and it was totally a rip-off okay, we had to pay $0.50 each -_- And the toilet wasn't even that clean, actually, it was quite dirty as compared to the other toilets further away. Plus, the others were all free!
Sheesh. Anyway, yeah we occupied like, almost the whole toilet. But there weren't anyone using them so I guess it was okay. Oh and we made the whole place wet, real wet.
Ooops. Oh but since we paid half a dollar,
heh we had the right to do so ... I think. Okay no. But yeah.
After washing up, we went to Burger King for lunch! And we were dripping wet + walking around BK.
Heh.
Afterwards, we actually wanted to rent bikes. But, we made a super awesome discovery. We saw this super amazing, and worth-every-dollar .... BUGGY RIDE FOR RENT! :D It was like this 5-
seater buggy thing (just nice!), where four people had to pedal while one person gets to steer the buggy. And and it had this super awesome flashy red-and-white striped canopy thingy! Damn cute + eye catching (people were staring at us the whole time we were
idk, riding that?). Oh and the best thing? The shop was having some student offer thing, you get the first hour for only $20. Which means that each of us only paid $4
muahah. Totally fits the
cheepo in me
heh.
Anyway, we were totally high-
ing by then. And we had trouble
manoeuvring the buggy thingy out of the driveway.
Haha you should have seen us, we were damn fail! The guy had to personally push the buggy first to get us out of the driveway. And everyone was like "
OMG RIGHTTT RIGHTTT, NO LEFT! I MEAN RIGHT!
AHHH WE'RE GONNA DRIVE INTO THE DITCH! QUICK,
LEFTT, NO
RIGHTTT, MORE
RIGHTTT!" Yup
something along that line.
Ahahah and we just went
siao,
lauhing and screaming and
idk doing what. Until the guy had to tell us to 'control ourselves' (though he said it in an amusing way). Plus he looked totally worried for us when he had to let us go ourselves.
So
yesh, one hour of
awesomenessss! We were super high. And we just started waving around and shouting random '
ANNYEONG HASEYO!'s at everyone. Most of them smiled and waved back :D Though some stared at us, or even laughed!
Hahaha! They must have been like "Why got random girls in a red and white buggy singing and laughing and greeting everyone, one?!" Oh did I mention, we were singing random songs too! Ranging from
hokkien songs -_- to
hahah pink panther song! Gosh I swear Christine and
JiaWei went mad, they really started singing in
hokkien, not kidding. Oh and Joy too! Christine and her started singing the
HZGG theme song. Some more super loudly!
HAHAH I FAINTED.
Oh and the most hilarious part, when we're going uphill. Cause really, it's hard to pedal the buggy when it's weighed down by 5 people. So, we would be like "1, 2, 3, *huff*, 4, 5,
C'MON PEDDLE
LEH, 6, 7, 8, 9, ...." Oh but when it comes to downhills, it was totally fun! We just sped down the hill, and oh with Christine's VERY GOOD driving skills, it gets scary too. Especially when we suddenly swerve or something, and everyone would
screeeaaaaaaaammmm. And then, we get random stares again
hahaha.
And yeah somewhere along the way,
someone's bag would definitely drop out. And that
happenned like what, five times? So yeah it was like, -pedal-, -drops bag, -
brakkkke-, -run back and pick up-, -pedal-, -drops bag-, -
brakkke-, -run back and pick up- .... Super retarded
heh.
Anyway, afterwards, we went to rent bikes. Crystal had a phobia of bikes so she went to have another shower instead. So yup, the rest of us cycled. At first we were thinking of twin bikes, but yeah it just didn't work out for Christine and me. We stumbled and stumbled. And I was positively sure we would get into an accident. So yeah we exchanged them for single bikes.
So, we cycled to another part of the coastal line. Ooooh there were really pretty sand castles there. But sadly, the got washed away by the rain which came afterwards I think. So yeah we just sat on the beach and just, idk, relaxed?
And then, it started drizzling -_- We returned the bikes. Totally not worth the money since we barely used them for 1.5hrs (we had 3hrs). Oh and JiaWei left I think? Cause she had to celebrate her granny's birthday or something. Anyway, we decided to go to Macs instead for ice-cream and burgers. Sheeeesh. Initially planned to go bowling. But by then, we were all really tired.
So then, it started to rain really heavily. Hahah we were quite a sight, wearing slippers splashing about in the rain, all the while huddling under umbrellas and shivering. So yup, walked back to the creepy underpass and boarded 48 back to Bukit Timah.
We occupied the whole back area (Hohoho the bus was quite empty). And we were shivering like mad since we were like, totally drenched. Oh and Joy was hilarious lah, she was literally hopping around when she boarded the bus.
And then, this really hmmm how should I put it, eccentric? Anyway, yeah this really eccentric indian guy boarded the bus, turban, indian robe, and all. And he was blasting indian music and singing along. And he even offered us sweets and water 0_0, which we obviously declined politely. But still, it was quite a comedic sight lah.
So yup, took about 40min to get to Serene Centre bus stop. By then I was shivering like mad, so I literally ran down the bus. Ahhhh, pure bliss. Oh and there was this massive jam, it took me 50MIN to get back home from Serene Centre (that's like, longer than the 48 bus ride -_-). I'm not even kidding. Usually it takes at most 15min. So yeah, I was shivering the whole time.
Anyway, came home and showered THRICE. Yup you heard it right, thrice. And I had this really bad break out of rashes, psh. My mum says I'm allergic to some marine elements. Awww sad, that means I can't go splashing about in the sea anymore ): But anyway, after layers and layers of aloe vera gel, I have almost no more rashes now! (: But, I now have a red nose, oh and red cheecks meh. But yayy not sunburnt thank goodness.
Okay I shall end this long long post which I doubt any of you really bothered to read through this whole crap.
But anyway, I LOVE NYTT YAYY. I LOVE BATCHIES YAYYY.
Okay by-
Oh wait, I'm currently watching Mary Stayed Out All Night. Awesome drama. But gosh now I have to suffer and wait for next week before the next ep comes out T_T Ah my sad life. Oh and Jang Geun Suk's totally H.O.T. in it. Gosh he's so freaking handsome. Now I feel like watching You're Beautiful all over again.
Okay byeeee!
*Oh My Gosh. This post is 1728 words long. Wtf. That's longer than my LA SIA essay 0_0!
